They're Beginning
In the Year 2007, There was Picture that said everything the issues, the suffering, the crisis. This picture was shown to Seth Maxwell by a friend of his that had recently come back from Uganda, this new information was a shock to him ,he knew he HAD to do something since he was in a position to do so. Seth gathered seven more of his closest friends ,they put they're money together and literally only had $70 Dollars they were able to buy 1000 water bottles with those water bottles and a couple conversations that had gone the right way $70 became $1700 so the The Thirst Project was born.
There are many villages in Africa that are very poor in water even less on clean water their way of getting a DRINK is walking 3 miles to a dirty muddy hole dug in the middle of nowhere just to get water that looks like something from a toilet after a use, perhaps toilet water is cleaner than what they have. There are a few sicknesses these people get do to this unsanitary water, fist of all they get really bad Ring Worm, they can also get a bad parasite that causes the stomach so well up even with no food but then when food consumed nearly instantly thrown up.
What they are doing to help this situation is they have been visiting Schools, Churches, and Universities and there the share the awareness this terrible crisis. In the time period of 8 years The Thirst Project has raised over 8 Million Dollars a great effect that will take on these kids lives now they can go to school now they can worry about more important things besides dirty water.
